Private firms

Private firms are increasingly pressured into CSR activities, however, there are significant challenges related to implementation of strategy. These challenges often relate to a lack of specific social and environmental knowledge, lack of trust and misaligned community partners as well as resource channels. These obstacles can lead to failed strategy, which creates a perception of "greenwashing", despite a firm's best intentions and hard work.

This community resource aims to help private firms address uncertainties while discovering the long-term returns of engaging in partnerships.

Civil Society Organisations (NGOs)

Civil society organisations focus on improving social and environmental conditions, often advocating a particular point of view. Organizations are challenged in realising their goals from a lack of resources, management capabilities and a lack of access to areas of operation where human rights, labour rights, environmental protection and anti-corruption could be improved upon.

This resource helps Civil Society Organisations align it's interests with public and private sector actors, enabling organizations to better overcome the challenges associated with their goals and stated mission.

Government Institutions

Government institutions are charged with the responsibility of delivering public services to its citizens and society. This responsibility is oftentimes best met through community participation, as there are rich sources of information, skills and capabilities in civil society organisations and private firms.
